Participle

Participle is a company which works with and for the public to create new types of public services that make a real difference in everyday lives.

One of the objectives of a service design project in Swindon was to identify ways which families and individuals could transform their lives through the introduction of new public services based upon their specific needs.

Working with a multi-disciplinary team of designers and researchers I carried out a module of user research to identify the everyday life experience of families coping with multiple difficulties for example, poverty, stress, debt, domestic violence, alchoholism and anti-social behaviour.  I also took part in an analysis workshop to help identify key insights and scope out initial new service opportunities.
